Album Description
Debut CD for the Suspects, a group of musicians based in the Black Hills. All are veteran players for many years. The disc is a collection of blues based rock/pop tune with a heavy emphasis on the studio grooves and music of Steely Dan. There are three writers and singers in the group, each with his own style and background. The disc encompases funk to jazz to delta blues styles. Horns were recorded in L.A. by Bill Bergman(The Heat is On-Glen Fry, Jack Mack and the Heart Attack) on sax and Lester Lovitt(Jack Mack and the Heart Attack, Brian Setzer's Big Band) on trumpet.
